BEST OF BLOGGERS 2013

Después de hacer repaso a nuestro looks, lo justo es que también lo hagamos a todos los que nos han inspirado en todo el año. Aquí están algunos de nuestros blogs de cabecera -Bartabac, Cocorosa, Collage Vintage, My daily style, Come over to the dark side, Dulceida, The blonde salad, Sincerely Jules, Neon blush, Lovely Pepa, Raspberry&Rouge, Style Scrapbook, Song of style y Fashion squad-. De algunas de ellas hay más que de otras, y aún así fue muy complicado elegir sólo algunos. Esperamos que sean tan inspiradores para vosotras cómo lo fueron para nosotras.

After the review of all of our looks, it was fair doing the same with all the looks that inspired us all over the year. Here there are some of our favourite blogs -Bartabac, Cocorosa, Collage Vintage, My daily style, Come over to the dark side, Dulceida, The blonde salad, Sincerely Jules, Neon blush, Lovely Pepa, Raspberry&Rouge, Style Scrapbook, Song of style and Fashion squad-. There are a few more of some of them, and still it was really complicated choosing just some. We hope they'd be as inpiring as they were for us.

ROSALÍA'S 2013

Hoy es el turno del repaso al año de Rosalía. Cómo ya os dijimos, esperamos que este año se porte bien con los proyectos que tenemos en mente y que sea maravilloso para todos vosotros. ¿Cuál es vuestro look favorito?

CAROLINA'S 2013

¡Feliz año a todo el mundo! ¿Qué tal habéis cerrado el 2013? Es increíble que ya se ha ido. Aunque en la última parte del año, hemos descuidado un poco las publicaciones diarias, Double Mode ha dado mucho de sí. Nos ha servido para seguir aprendiendo, para mejorar en muchos aspectos y corregir otros con los que no estábamos muy contentas. Tenemos la sensación de que el 2014 va a ser un gran año por los proyectos que estamos desarrollando a nivel personal y profesional, que son muchos y muy ambiciosos. Mientras, aquí os dejamos la primera parte de lo que ha supuesto el año para nosotras, con las fotos de Carolina. Mañana le tocará a Rosalía :D

Happy new year! How did you close 2013? It's amazing that it already came to an end. Even though we didn't pay a lot of attention to Double Mode in the last months, it brought us a lot of amazing things, we continued learning, improved a lot of aspects and corrected some other we didn't like. We have the feeling that 2014 is gonna be a great year because we are developing a lot of aspects in personal and professional levels, that there are really ambitious. Now, here you have the first part of our year with Carolina's pictures. Tomorrow is Rosalía's turn :D

HIGHEST PAID MALE MODELS

El final del año está cada vez más cerca y, por lo tanto, tocan listas de todo un poco. De entre las que van saliendo, nos hemos centrado en la publicada por la revista Forbes que recoge a los 10 modelos masculinos mejor pagados de este año. El primero, Sean O'Pry, podrá sonaros de campañas de Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss o Ralph Lauren, entre muchas otras. En el año que ahora acaba ha ganado un total de 1,1 millones de euros, una cifra que, aun siendo astronómica para nosotras, está muy lejos de los 30 que ha ganado Gisele Bundchen, que ostenta el mismo título femenino. Como bien apunta la revista Marie Claire, en moda todavía existe una gran discriminación hacia los profesionales masculinos. Y mientras ellos siguen haciéndose de oro, iniciamos el fin de semana con un regalo para los ojos :D ¡Pasen y vean!

The end of the year is closer and closer, so it's time for the top lists. We've focused in one elaborated by Forbes magazine about the highest paid male models of 2013. The first one is Sean O'Pry, who has participated in Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss of Ralph Lauren campains, among many others. The amount of money he made reaches 1,1 million euros. Anyway, it's far away from the 30 million that made Gisele Bundchen. While they are getting richer and richer, we start the weekend with a gift for our eyes :D Come and see, everybody!

TOP 10: WEEKLY BLOGGER INSPIRATION 4

Ya es domingo. Es increíble como pasan las semanas, aunque eso significa que las vacaciones se van acercando (yuju!!). Aunque la semana pasada hicimos una pausa y le dedicamos nuestra inspiración a la falda pantalón de Zara (que ayer mismo nos compramos -sí, hemos caído...-), volvemos con los looks que más nos han gustado de los últimos siete días. Hoy tenemos a Streetdressed, Dulceida, Camille over the rainbow, My daily style, Collage Vintage, Something in the way, Casey's collection, Neon Blush, Song of style y Bartabac. 

Otra cosa... estamos pensando en comprarnos unas Nike e investigando cómo ahorrar un poquito hemos llegado a Cuponation, que está al tanto en las ofertas de moda y las pone todas a nuestra disposición en una sola página.

TOP 10: ZARA WRAP SKIRT

Hoy hemos cambiado la recapitulación de looks favoritos de la semana porque, al buscar, nos dimos cuenta de que todas nuestras bloggers favoritas tenían la misma falda. Y es que todas las temporadas suele haber una prenda que, por lo menos en los blogs, triunfa por encima de cualquier otra. En esta ocasión -y esto tampoco es nada raro- el reinado pertenece a esta falda-pantalón tipo pareo de Zara. Empezamos a verla con cierta timidez, pero hoy su éxito es indiscutible. Aquí las Double Mode no descartamos hacernos con una... (aunque fijo que cuando nos decidamos a comprarla ya no la hay). Aquí sólo hemos puesto a bloggers que seguimos, pero seguramente vosotros fichéis la falda en otros blogs. ¡Feliz domingo soleado!

We've changed our weekly blogger selection because, when we were looking for looks, we realised our favourite ones have the same skirt. Every season there is a fashion star piece that. This time -and this also is something normal- the throne belongs to this Zara rap skirt-short. It's possible that here, Double Mode girls, finally choose to buy it (but for sure that there's no more when we decide). We just put here the looks we saw in the blogs we follow, but you probably see the skirt in a lot else. Happy sunny Sunday!

Y con ella acabamos la lista de lo mejor de lo mejor del pasado año. Ya os hemos dicho varias veces lo muchísimo que nos gusta Sara de Collage Vintage. Tiene un estilo perfecto en cada ocasión y nunca deja de sorprendernos con sus estilismos. Aquí tenéis algunos de nuestros looks favoritos de 2012 (hay más que de costumbre, fue realmente difícil escoger esta vez). ¿Con cuál os quedáis?

PD: Perdonad otra vez que estemos ausentes, el trabajo está siendo agotador para las dos y ni siquiera tenemos tiempo para hacer fotos (el poco tiempo y la mucha lluvia :S) Por eso os agradecemos todavía más que sigáis aquí visitándonos y comentando con tanto cariño :)

Quizá hoy no sea el mejor dia para presentaros a Sincerely Jules como una de nuestras bloggers favoritas del 2012 con la de agua que está cayendo... El clima californiano en el que vive le permite ir bastante desabrigadita siempre (aquí en Galicia no pasaba ni la primavera así) y, por eso, no nos podemos inspirar mucho en ella para los looks invernales. Pero no importa porque lo de esta mujer no es normal. Va siempre IM-PE-CA-BLE, aunque se ponga los pantalones más rotos y la camiseta más vieja de su armario. Para nosotras es una de las personas más estilosas de forma innata que seguimos en la blogosfera. ¿A vosotras os gusta su estilo? ¡Feliz fin de semana!

Maybe today, because of in some parts of Spain is raining so much, isn't the best ocassion to show you Sincerely Jules as one of our favourite blogger of 2012. The Californian weather where she lives lets her go out pretty unwrapping and, because of that, we can't use her like inspiration at winter. But we don't care because this girl's stuff isn't normal. She always looks FAULTLESS, even if she's wearing the most torn jeans and the oldes tee of her closet. For us is one of the most stylish person that we follow. Do you like her style? Si Style Scrapbook es nuestra blogger favorita del mundo, nuestro referente en España no podía ser otra. El estilo de Lovely Pepa nos cautivó desde el principio y, aunque obviamente hay looks con los que nos identificamos más que con otros, en general está de número dos en nuestra lista. Hemos seleccionado los outfits que más nos han gustado en el 2012 y, mientras lo hacíamos, nos hemos dado cuenta de que cuando más nos gusta es cuando apuesta por el casual. No dudamos que seguro que está también en vuestra lista de bloggers favoritas, pero ¿os gusta la selección que hemos hecho? Buen sábado a todos :D

Style Scrapbook is our favourite blogger in the world, but our reference in Spain couldn't be anyone but her. We had a crush with Lovely Pepa's style from the beginning. Obviously, we identify more with some looks than other ones, but in general she is our second favourite blogger. We've selected the outfits we liked the most during 2012 and, meanwhile we did it, we realised that we love her most when she wears more casual looks. We don't doubt that she is also in your list but, do you like our choices? Happy Saturday to everybody :D
