BEST OF BLOGGERS 2013

Después de hacer repaso a nuestro looks, lo justo es que también lo hagamos a todos los que nos han inspirado en todo el año. Aquí están algunos de nuestros blogs de cabecera -Bartabac, Cocorosa, Collage Vintage, My daily style, Come over to the dark side, Dulceida, The blonde salad, Sincerely Jules, Neon blush, Lovely Pepa, Raspberry&Rouge, Style Scrapbook, Song of style y Fashion squad-. De algunas de ellas hay más que de otras, y aún así fue muy complicado elegir sólo algunos. Esperamos que sean tan inspiradores para vosotras cómo lo fueron para nosotras.

After the review of all of our looks, it was fair doing the same with all the looks that inspired us all over the year. Here there are some of our favourite blogs -Bartabac, Cocorosa, Collage Vintage, My daily style, Come over to the dark side, Dulceida, The blonde salad, Sincerely Jules, Neon blush, Lovely Pepa, Raspberry&Rouge, Style Scrapbook, Song of style and Fashion squad-. There are a few more of some of them, and still it was really complicated choosing just some. We hope they'd be as inpiring as they were for us.

ROSALÍA'S 2013

Hoy es el turno del repaso al año de Rosalía. Cómo ya os dijimos, esperamos que este año se porte bien con los proyectos que tenemos en mente y que sea maravilloso para todos vosotros. ¿Cuál es vuestro look favorito?

Today is Rosalía's review of the year. As we told you, we hope this year would be good with all the proyects we have in mind and be wonderful to all of you. Which one is your favourite look?

CAROLINA'S 2013

¡Feliz año a todo el mundo! ¿Qué tal habéis cerrado el 2013? Es increíble que ya se ha ido. Aunque en la última parte del año, hemos descuidado un poco las publicaciones diarias, Double Mode ha dado mucho de sí. Nos ha servido para seguir aprendiendo, para mejorar en muchos aspectos y corregir otros con los que no estábamos muy contentas. Tenemos la sensación de que el 2014 va a ser un gran año por los proyectos que estamos desarrollando a nivel personal y profesional, que son muchos y muy ambiciosos. Mientras, aquí os dejamos la primera parte de lo que ha supuesto el año para nosotras, con las fotos de Carolina. Mañana le tocará a Rosalía :D

Happy new year! How did you close 2013? It's amazing that it already came to an end. Even though we didn't pay a lot of attention to Double Mode in the last months, it brought us a lot of amazing things, we continued learning, improved a lot of aspects and corrected some other we didn't like. We have the feeling that 2014 is gonna be a great year because we are developing a lot of aspects in personal and professional levels, that there are really ambitious. Now, here you have the first part of our year with Carolina's pictures. Tomorrow is Rosalía's turn :D

JULY REVIEW

Otro mes que se va. Esta vez hay menos estilismos, ya se sabe cómo es el verano... Esperamos que en agosto nos resulte más fácil publicar diariamente. ¿Qué looks os han gustado más?

Another month that ends. This time there are less outfits, you know how summer is... We hope in August it would be easier to publish daily. What looks were your favourites?

Parece mentira, pero ya casi estamos en julio... Y como cada mes, aquí está el repaso a nuestros looks -menos calurosos de lo que nos gustaría-. ¿Cuál os ha gustado más?

MAY REVIEW

¡¡Ya estamos casi en junio!! Es increíble lo rápido que pasa el tiempo... Las vacaciones están a la vuelta de la esquina, y nos toca hacer repaso del mes que acaba. No sabemos si a vosotros también os pasa, pero nosotras este mes lo pasamos especialmente mal a la hora de escoger los modelitos, ya no se nos ocurre qué ponernos. Esperemos que junio venga mucho más caluroso y estable. ¿Con qué look os quedáis?

We are almost in June!! It is amazing how fast time goes by... Holidays are around the corner and it's turn to make a review of the month that is ending. We don't know about you, but it was specially dificult for us this month to choose our outfits, we don't know what to wear anymore. We hope June comes a lot warmer and stable. Which was your favourite look?

APRIL REVIEW

Hoy toca repaso mensual a nuestros looks. La verdad es que ha sido un mes muy raro, aunque pudimos dejar a un lado los abrigos y las botas, así que no nos quejamos mucho :P ¿Qué looks os han gustado más?

Today is turn for a month review of our looks. It was a really weird month, although we could leave the coats and boots away, so we don't complain so much :P Which ones were your favourites?

Está claro que lo de la entrada con las fotos de Instagram una vez a la semana no es para nosotras, así que hemos decidido hacer repaso al mes completo (que así seguro que llenamos de sobra :D). Esperamos que os gusten las pequeñas instantáneas de nuestro día a día y os animamos a que nos sigáis aquí también -@doublemode-.

It is clear that we can´t do a weeekly review of our Instagram, so we decided to do it monthly (this way we have enough photos for sure :D). We hope you like the little snapshots of our daily life and we encourage you to follow us here as well -@doublemode-.

MARCH REVIEW

Esperamos que con marzo se vaya de una vez el frío y podamos ponernos prendas primaverales. Haciendo repaso al mes, nos damos cuenta de lo hartas que estamos (suponemos que como todos vosotros) de los abrigos y las botas. Si, seguramente a mediados de agosto estaremos pidiendo a gritos un poco de frío, nunca estamos contentas con el tiempo jejeje. ¿Qué os han parecido los looks de este mes? ¿Con cuál os quedáis?

We hope that with March leaves the cold as well and we can wear once and for all some spring pieces. Making the review we realized how sick we are (we guess that like everyone) about coats and boots. Yes, we probably will be praying for cold in the middle of August, but we are never happy with the weather hehehe. What do you think about our looks? Which one is your favourite?

FEBRUARY REVIEW

Este mes ha sido un poco escaso de outfits. La verdad es que el tiempo no nos ha acompañado y las obligaciones diarias nos han limitado bastante. Prometemos que marzo será un mes mejor. Por cierto, ya estamos en condiciones de anunciar una sorpresa semanal que comenzará este sábado. Estad atentos porque creemos que os va a gustar. Mientras tanto, ¿qué os han parecido las propuestas de este mes que hoy se acaba? 

February has been a bit poor in the amount of outfits. The truth is that the weather didn't behave really well and our daily stuff let us no time to shoot more. We promise that March will be a better month. Btw, we can announce a weekly surprise that will start this Saturday. Stay tuned because we think you'll like it. Meanwhile, what do you think about our proposals for the month that today comes to an end?

LOOKS DE LOS GOYA 2013

Como no podía ser de otra manera, hoy hacemos repaso a la alfombra roja de los premios Goya. En general, demasiados brillos para nuestro gusto y los peinados tampoco nos gustaron especialmente. Los colores neutros (blanco, negro y crudo) vuelven a ser los elegidos. Poco color y poco atrevimiento. ¿Cuáles han sido vuestros favoritos?

PD: La semana que viene hablaremos de los Oscar y acabaremos con la temporada de premios.

Yesterday were the Spanish Cinema Awards, so today we have to make a review of the looks. Too much shining for us and the hairdos were a bit boring. Neutral colors (black, white and nude) were the chosen ones again. Which one do you like the most?

PS: We haven't translated all the texts because most of the actresses are just famous in Spain. Next Monday we will talk about the Oscar and the awards season will be over.

La verdad es que llevamos fatal lo de actualizar Instagram a menudo, pero a partir de ahora prometemos intentar sacar más fotos para poder llenar más esta sección. This post should be called Insta-two-weeks. The truth is that we are really bad at update Istagram often, but from now on we promise to try to take more pictures to fill this section. JANUARY REVIEW

Vale, este mes no ha sido un mes de grandes ni numerosos estilismos. Entre la lluvia y el poco tiempo que hemos tenido para hacer las fotos, el inicio del año ha sido caótico y lo sentimos. Pero, como cada final de mes, os dejamos con el repaso a nuestros looks. ¿Cuáles os han gustado más?

Ok, this month was not a month full of outfits. Both rain and the short time we had to take the pictures, the begining of the year was absolutely chaotic. But, like every end of month, we leave you with a review of our looks, Which one was your favourite?

Comenzamos nueva sección (poco original, si, lo sabemos). A partir de hoy, todos los domingos os dejaremos por aquí para los que no tengáis Instagram nuestras capturas de la semana. Los que si tenéis, podéis seguirnos buscándonos como @doublemode. La verdad es que antes teníamos uno cada una repletos de fotos, pero nos hemos dado cuenta de que haciendo solamente uno para las dos facilitaríamos las cosas a la hora de seguirnos. Vale que en esta primera tanda hay más fotos que las de esta semana, pero tenemos que ir llenándolo ;)

We start a new section (nothing original, we know). From today, every Sunday we will leave you here for those who haven't got Instagram our week captures. For those who have it, follow us looking for @doublemode. The truth is that before we have one account each of us full of pictures, but we realized that if we create just one for both that would make things easy to follow us. Ok, in this series there are more pics, but we have to fill it ;)

CAROLINA'S BEST OF 2012

Tal y como dijimos ayer, hoy es el turno del repaso al año de Carolina. No sabemos si vosotros lo apreciaréis, pero nosotras vemos un cambio increíble con respecto a las primeras fotos que sacamos para el blog y las últimas. Un cambio a muchísimo mejor, por supuesto. Suponemos que eso es lo normal, ir mejorando con el tiempo, y esperamos aprender muchísimo más este nuevo año.

As we said yesterday, today is Carloina's best moments of last year. We don't know if you notice, but we see an incredible change between the first pictures and the last ones. A change to so much better, of course. We assume this is normal, getting better with time, and we hope we can learn much more this new year.

ROSALÍA'S BEST OF 2012

FELIZ AÑO 2013!!! ¿Ha sido muy grande la fiesta? Para dar inicio a este nuevo año, os mostramos un "the best of" con los looks de Rosalía y algunos momentos que nos han marcado del año que ya se ha acabado (mañana será el turno de Carolina). No podemos quejarnos de cómo nos ha ido, el blog dio sus primeros pasos, a nivel personal estamos encantadas y vamos sobreviviendo en la parte profesional. Como creemos que lo que falta hoy en día es un poco de optimismo (aunque sabemos que son tiempos complicados) pondremos toooodo nuestro empeño en que el 2013 sea un gran año de cambios y podamos hacer realidad algunos de nuestro sueños. Lo mismo deseamos para todos vosotros. 

PD: Sigue pendiente un post con los vestidos de Nochevieja ;)

HAPPY 2013!!! How was the party? To start the new year, we show you one "the best of" with Rosalía's outfits and some of the moments than marked the year that already ended (tomorrow will be Carolina's turn). We can't complain with the balance because the blog did its first steps, we are happy in personal part and surviving in profesional part. As we think that there's few optimism today (althought we know these times are complicated), we'll put aaaall our efford in turn 2013 into a great year of changes when some of our dreams could come true. The same we wish to all of you. 

PS: We still have a New Year's Eve post as pendent ;)

NOVEMBER REVIEW

Es increíble que noviembre llegue hoy a su fin. Este año nos ha pasado extremadamente rápido porque ya solo falta un mes y es el mejor :D. Antes de que el ambiente navideño comience a inundarlo todo (aunque ya ha comenzado a aparecer), nosotras hacemos repaso de los looks de este mes. ¿Cuál es vuestro preferido? ¿Se os ha pasado el año tan rápido como a nosotras?

It's unbeliveable that november is coming to an end. This year has passed extremely fast because there's only a month left and it's the best :D. Before Christmas spirit starts to flood everywhere (even tough it has already started to show up), we make a review of this month's outfits. Which one is your favourite?
