SHORT DUNGAREE

Cuando "estrenamos" el peto vaquero en esta entrada os dijimos que habíamos recuperado dos de ellos. Pues este es el otro, que hemos cortado y quitado los bolsillos. Nos gusta mucho la combinación de los petos con tacones, especialmente con estos que ya conocéis de sobra. Además, el kimono le da ese toque informal pero arreglado que tanto nos gusta. 

When we wore again our denim dungaree we told you that we had recuperated two of them. Well, this is the other one, we made ir short and we took off the pockets. We love how dungarees look with heels, specially whit these ones that you already know. Besides, the kimono gives the casual but fancy touch that we love so much.

PUNKY BREWSTER STYLE

El otro día estábamos hablando con nuestra madre de cómo habían vuelto los petos. De repente nos dice: "En el armario del garaje hay dos" de cuando éramos pequeñas. Por supuesto, allí nos fuimos corriendo a ver si todavía podían aprovecharse. Como podéis ver en las fotos, éste luce como nuevo. El otro lo hemos cortado para hacernos uno tipo short. Está claro -y cada día más- que no se puede tirar nada a la basura, porque todo vuelve.

En esta ocasión han tocado Converse, pero también hemos hecho pruebas con taconazo y quedan de maravilla. Ya os iremos enseñando diferentes propuestas. Para restarle informalidad, Rosalía lo combinó con una camiseta de transparencias.¿Os gusta? 

La entrada de hoy es especial porque el bolso nos lo hemos hecho nosotras. La historia es parecida: teníamos una cartera negra en casa, sin mucha gracia, así que cogimos unos botes de pintura acrílica y nos pusimos manos a la obra. Nos encanta el resultado, ¿a vosotros?

The other day we were talking with our mother about the back of the dungarees. Suddenly she told us: "There are two of them in the garage's closet" from when we were younger. Of course, there we ran to see if they were usable. As you can see in these pictures, this one looks as new. We cut the other one to make it short. It is clear -more everyday- that you can't throw anything away, because you never know when you will wear it again.

This time we chose Converse, but we also tried with heels and they look amazing. We will show you some different proposals. To reduce informality, Rosalía combined it with a see-through tee. Do you like it?

Today's post is special because we made the bag. The story is very similar: we had this clutch at home, it was not really pretty, so we took some acrylic paint and we began to splash it. We love the result, don't you?

LADY UNLIKE

Lo del look de hoy nos suele pasar bastante a menudo. El tema es que a veces nos apetece arreglarnos algo más de lo habitual, pero cuando nos vemos en el espejo el resultado es quizá un poco demasiado "pijo" para nuestro gusto, así que intentamos romper el estilismo con algún toque más macarra. Eso es lo que le pasó a Carolina, que decidió que lo que mejor para restar seriedad a su modelito eran unos boyfriend. El resultado no podría gustarnos más (ya sabéis lo fans que somos de mezclar estilos). ¿A vosotros que os parece? ¿También tenéis días así?

The story of today's look is somethign that happen to us often. The thing is that sometimes we feel like overdressing a little more than usual, but when we look in the mirror the result is a bit too much "preppy" for us, so we try to break the outfit with some badass touch. This is what happend to Carolina, she decided that the best thing that could reduce seriousness to her outfit were some boyfriends. We love the result (you know we are big fans of mising styles). DOTS, STRIPES AND SKULLS

Al acabar de hacer las fotos y editarlas, nos dimos cuenta de que iban a ir dos entradas seguidas con estampado de lunares. Pero como creemos que los looks no tienen nada que ver, simplemente es una anécdota. Estas son las otras gafas nuevas de Asos, más discretitas jejeje. Y, para estrenarlas, Carolina optó por combinar hasta tres estampados diferentes. El resultado nos encanta. ¿Qué os parece?

When we took the photos we moticed that they would be two posts row with dotted print. But we think that the looks are completely different, so it is just an anecdote. These are the other new Asos sunnies, a bit more discrete hehehe. And, for wear them, Carolina chose three different prints. We love the result. What do you think?

MIXING

Esta semana a Carolina le ha dado por la ropa vintage... Ahora le toca a los pantalones, que compró en un mercadillo de Lisboa hace tiempo y todavía no los había puesto en el blog. Nos gusta mucho el resultado porque es mezcla de muchas tendencias que se complementan muy bien. Como veis, al igual que en las fotos de ayer, el sol nos permitió lucir pierna (hoy sería imposible aquí en Ourense). ¿Qué opináis? ¡¡Ánimo que el fin de semana ya esta aquí!!

It's been a pretty vintage week for Carolina... Now is turn of the pants that she bought in a Lisbon market some time ago and she hadn't shown them in the blog yet. We really like the result because is a mix of trends that can complement perfectly. As you can see -and it also happened in yesterday's pictures- the Sun let us show some skin (it'd be impossible today here in Ourense). What do you think? TGIF!!

DADDY'S SWEATER

El post de hoy es algo nostálgico. El causante es este jersey, ¿por qué? Pues porque tiene ¡más de 30 años! Llegamos a la conclusión de que quizá no nos creeríais si solamente os lo decíamos (podría perfectamente pasar por uno de Zara), así que decidimos enseñaros una foto de nuestro padre en plena juventud llevándolo. Y tenemos que decir, que lanas como la de esta prenda ya no se fabrican, ¡¡tres décadas y ni una sola bolita!! ¿Qué os parece? ¿Tenéis alguna prenda recuperada del armario de vuestros padres?

Today's post is a little nostalgic. The cause is this sweater, why? Well because it is more than 30 years old! We conclude that maybe you won't belive us if we just told you (it perfectly could be a Zara sweater), so we decided to show you a picture of our father in his youth wearing it. And we have to say, wools like this sweater's are not made anymore, three decades and it hasn't got a single pellet!! What do you think about it? LEO COAT

Otra de las grandes adquisiciones de rebajas ha sido este abrigo de Asos. Lo habíamos visto a principio de temporada y hace unos días, echando un vistazo, lo vimos a menos de la mitad del precio original. Nos encanta y, aunque el estampado pueda no parecerlo a simple vista, es muy fácil de combinar. Seguro que se convertirá en uno de nuestros imprescindibles para lo que resta de invierno. ¿Qué os parece? Todavía está disponible y rebajado en la web, así que si os gusta, no os resistáis mucho :D

This coat from Asos is another sales purchases. We'd seen it at the beginning of the season and some days ago we saw that its price was less than half of the original. We love it and it's more easy to mix than it seems at the first sight. We are sure it will be one of our must have of this winter. Do you like it? ASYMMETRICAL

¿Estáis listas ya para Fin de Año? Nosotras casi casi. El lunes os enseñaremos nuestros vestidos. Mientras, os dejamos con otro look del día a día, que por cierto vino soleado. ¿Quién dijo que las faldas asimétricas no eran para el invierno? THE MAYANS WENT WRONG

Viernes, por fin! Esperamos que estéis leyendo esto, porque significa que no se ha acabado el mundo ;D Que, por lo menos, los mayas nos permitan disfrutar de la Navidad. Mientras tanto, os dejamos un nuevo look, sencillo y cómodo pero no por ello menos chulo. RAINING

En estas fotos podéis comprobar que nos os mentimos al decir que llueve. Peeeero, las fotos hay que hacerlas igual, así que nada mejor que poner al mal tiempo buena cara y hacer de un paraguas el complemento perfecto de un look. Ánimo a todos que ya falta poquito para Navidad :D

In these pictures you can see that we don't lie saying that it's raining a lot. Buuuut, you must shoot the same, so nothing better to put a smile to the bad weather and turn an umbrella into a perfect complement for the outfit. Last sprint that Christmas is almost here :D

ANIMALIZED

Salir de noche en invierno es un poco complicado. Mal si te abrigas mucho porque dentro de los sitios hace calor, pero mal si no lo haces porque te puedes morir entre bar y bar o camino a casa. De esta chaqueta ya os hemos hablado últimamente, en esta ocasión es para contaros lo maravillosa que es en las noches de invierno. Aunque las fotos fueron sacadas durante el día, este fue el look de Carolina para irse de cena y party un sábado. Es taaan calentita que te permite ir de manga corta por debajo y no pasar nada de frío. ¿Qué os parece el look para salir?

Going out at night during the winter is a bit complicated. You'll be wrong if you wrap a lot because it's too hot into the locals, but you'll also be wrong if you don't do it because you could die between bars or going home. We've talked to you about this jacket lately, in this case is for telling you how wonderful is it in winter nights. Even though the pictures were taken at day, this was the look that Carolina wore to go dinner and party on a Saturday night. It's soooo warm that allows to you wear sleeveless and not have cold at all. What do you think about this look?

Parece que el frío ha llegado al norte para quedarse de verdad. De hecho, cuando hicimos estas fotos parecía que estaba a punto de nevar. La combinación de hoy es el simple blanco y negro, que aunque nos encanta la verdad es que casualmente no solemos ponérnoslo muy a menudo. Es algo de lo que acabamos de darnos cuenta :D. Eso sí, que no falte el toque de color...

It seems like the cold has got the North of Spain to stay. In fact, it was about to snow when we took these pictures. Today's mixing is the simple black and white, a combo we actually love but casually we don't wear a lot. It's something we've just realized about :D. But, the touch of colour couldn't fail...

THE SNEAKERS VOL. II

Segunda entrega de las sneakers nuevas. No pudimos evitar pensar en LA falda cuando nos planteamos cinco looks diferentes para los zapatos. ¿Qué os parece? ¡Feliz martes!

WRAPPING

¡Qué gusto que ya podemos comenzar a ponernos bufandas y guantes! El frío de verdad parece que comienza a aparecer y lo cierto es que nos encanta abrigarnos.

It's so nice we can start wearing scarves and gloves! The real cold is coming and the truth is that we love wrapping :D

FLOWER SCARF

Este foulard es nuestro favorito por encima de cualquier otro. Da igual con qué te lo pongas: rayas, cuadros, leopardo... Sienta bien con cualquier cosa. También es indiferente cómo te lo coloques porque la tela tiene una caída muy buena y queda de maravilla de cualquier forma. Aquí aporta el toque de color al look. ¿Qué os parece? ¿Tenéis algún foulard que os salve y adorne los outfits?

This scarf is our favourite in the whole world. It doesn't matter how do you mix it: stripes, patterned, checked, leo... It fits perfect with any piece. It also is indifferent how do you wear it because the fabric is able to adapt itself wondefully. In this case, it puts the touch of colour in our look. Do you like it? Do you have a life guard scarf?

BIKING

Siempre estamos buscando nuevos escenarios, nuevos complementos y accesorios que añadir a nuestras fotos. Esta bicicleta es poco menos que una reliquia familiar. Es de cuando nuestra tía era pequeña. Tuvimos ocasión de heredarla cuando éramos más niñas, pero entonces estaban de moda las mountain bikes y nosotras, tontitas como éramos, rechazamos esta maravilla. Con los años hemos ido cogiendo algo de sentido y ahora, no solo la hemos recuperado, sino que nos tiene locas :D

We are always looking for new scenario, new complements and accesories to add in our pictures. This bike is almost a familiar treasure. It's from our aunt when she was younger. We had the ocassion to take it a lot of times when we were little girls, but then the mountain bikes were in and we were two silly kids. Now we looove this one so so much :D

LOVE

¡¡Buenos días!! Esperamos que no se os esté haciendo muy pesada la semana, ya falta menos. Está claro, los colores de temporada son el ocre y el granate. Están por todas partes y, por supuesto, no podían faltar en nuestro armario. Aprovechamos para enseñaros nuestro nuevos zapatos que, al igual que con la falda que os enseñábamos ayer, fue amor a primera vista. Prueba de ello es el escenario lleno de corazoncitos donde sacamos las fotos ;) ¿Os gustan?

Good morning!! Hope your week is going well. It is clear, the season colors are ocher and maroon. They are everywhere and, of course, they had to be in our closet. We also show you our new shoes which, like the skirt we showed you yesterday, was love at first sight. As proof is the scenary where we took the pictures, full of hearts ;) Do you like them?

TIE-TIN

¡Buenos días! Esperamos que la semana os esté yendo de maravilla. En el look de hoy hemos sacado a relucir uno de nuestros bolsos favoritos. Aunque hacía muchísimo tiempo que no lo usábamos, decidimos que ya era hora de sacarle más partido. El nudo del pañuelo se debe a que no hacía frío suficiente como para llevarlo atado al cuello pero tampoco hacía calor como para llevarlo suelto o incluso no llevarlo. El resultado, un nudo de corbata que nos encanta cómo queda :) ¿Que os parece?

Good morning! We hope your week is going well. On today's looks we brought out one of our favourites bags. Even though it's been a lot of time without using it, we decided that we should use it more often. The knot in the scarf is because it was not cold enough to wear it really tied aroud the neck but it was not too hot either to wear it loose or even not wearing it. The result, a tie knot that we love :) What o you think?

JIMMY

Lástima que ya no queden hombres como James Dean (y Paul Newman :D). Como ya sabréis, cada vez que nos vamos de compras, nos encanta pasarnos por la sección masculina y perdernos entre sus jerséis y camisetas. A principios de septiembre volvió a ocurrirnos, esta vez en H&M. Rosalía es muy fan de él (Carolina lo es más de Paul Newman :D). Lo tiene colgado en su habitación (aquí), de fondo en el ordenador, de fondo en el móvil... Él y Audrey. Como homenaje, Rosalía quiso añadir algunos detalles "rockabilly" a su look. ¿Os gusta?

It's such a shame that men like James Dean don't exist anymore (neither like Paul Newman :D). As you could know, we have to go around the men section everytime we are shopping. In the first days of September it happened to us again, this time in H&M. Rosalía is a huge fan (Carolina is more Paul Newman's :D). She has it in her room (here), pc and phone wallpapers... He and Audrey. As a tribute, Rosalía wanted to add some "rockabilly" details. Like it?
