LOST DESERT

¿Qué tal el primer día de rebajas? ¿Habéis picado en muchas cosas? Nosotras teníamos la lista de deseos hecha desde hace un tiempo y lo hemos conseguido todo -no era muy amplia jeje-. Pronto haremos un post con las últimas cosas que han ido llegando a casa, como esta camiseta de Asos. Con respecto al outfit de hoy, ya sabéis lo mucho que nos gusta mezclar las rayas con cualquier otro estampado, nos parece un motivo adaptable a cualquier look. Esta vez, Carolina optó por los shorts de pajaritos para un día de calor insoportable, parece que el bochorno veraniego ya está en Ourense :P

Yesterday was the first day of sales in Spain and we got almost everything we had in our wishlist -it wasn't really long hehe-.Soon we will show you the last purchases, like this Asos tee. About today's outfit, you already know how much we love mixing stripes with any other print,we think the are a vaey adaptable motif to any look. This time, Carolina chose to combine them with her birdies shorts for a really hot day.

PUNKY BREWSTER STYLE

El otro día estábamos hablando con nuestra madre de cómo habían vuelto los petos. De repente nos dice: "En el armario del garaje hay dos" de cuando éramos pequeñas. Por supuesto, allí nos fuimos corriendo a ver si todavía podían aprovecharse. Como podéis ver en las fotos, éste luce como nuevo. El otro lo hemos cortado para hacernos uno tipo short. Está claro -y cada día más- que no se puede tirar nada a la basura, porque todo vuelve.

En esta ocasión han tocado Converse, pero también hemos hecho pruebas con taconazo y quedan de maravilla. Ya os iremos enseñando diferentes propuestas. Para restarle informalidad, Rosalía lo combinó con una camiseta de transparencias.¿Os gusta? 

La entrada de hoy es especial porque el bolso nos lo hemos hecho nosotras. La historia es parecida: teníamos una cartera negra en casa, sin mucha gracia, así que cogimos unos botes de pintura acrílica y nos pusimos manos a la obra. Nos encanta el resultado, ¿a vosotros?

The other day we were talking with our mother about the back of the dungarees. Suddenly she told us: "There are two of them in the garage's closet" from when we were younger. Of course, there we ran to see if they were usable. As you can see in these pictures, this one looks as new. We cut the other one to make it short. It is clear -more everyday- that you can't throw anything away, because you never know when you will wear it again.

This time we chose Converse, but we also tried with heels and they look amazing. We will show you some different proposals. To reduce informality, Rosalía combined it with a see-through tee. Do you like it?

Today's post is special because we made the bag. The story is very similar: we had this clutch at home, it was not really pretty, so we took some acrylic paint and we began to splash it. We love the result, don't you?

CUT OUT DRESS

Teníamos muchas ganas de enseñaros este vestido, pero el tiempo no nos dejaba. Nos encantó nada más verlo, y sabemos que se va a convertir en básico para los días de poca inspiración. Además, nos encanta el detalle del corte en los hombros, nos parece que sienta muy bien. ¿Tenéis alguna prenda con "cortes"?

We were looking forward to show you this dress, but the weather wasn't helping at all. We loved it since we saw it for the first time, and we know it will be a basic for the less inspiration days. Besides, we love the cut out showing the shoulders, we think it looks so great. Do you have any cut out piece?

FANCY HUNTING

Todavía no podemos enseñaros este vestido nuevo de H&M en todo su esplendor, pero creemos que Carolina hizo una fantástica elección al combinarlo con la camisa de camuflaje. Los toques "elegantes" de los zapatos y el bolso dan el punto de color. ¿Os gusta la elección?

We can't show you this new H&M dress in all its glory yet, but we think Carolina made a fantastic choice combining it with the camo shirt. The "fancy" touches with the shoes and clutch give the color point at her look. Do you like it?

CROWDED STREET

Un lunes más, cada vez las vacaciones están más cerca! Aunque a este paso estaremos en pleno agosto y con el abrigo puesto... Del look de hoy no hay mucho que decir, algo sencillo y cómodo para una tranquila mañana de paseo. ¿Qué tal se ha portado el fin de semana? ¡Feliz lunes a todo el mundo!

Another Monday, summer holidays are almost there! Although if we continue like this, we will be in August and with the coat on... There's not much to say about today's look, something simple and comfy for a quiet walk in the morning. How was your weekend? Happy Monday everyone! 

CROCHET DRESS

Nos compramos este vestido pensando en el festival al que teníamos pensado ir, pero por diversas circunstancias este año nos vamos a quedar con las ganas... Así que Carolina no se lo pensó dos veces y se lo puso el otro día -aprovechando el sol que aún había-, combinado con los botines rojos y el bolso-bolsa. (Perdonad el blanco de las piernas, pero es que ni aún queriendo uno ponerse moreno...). ¿Os gusta? ¿Tenéis pensado ir a algún festival este verano? Contadnos para morirnos de envidia :(

We bought this dress thinking about wearing it in the summer festival we had planned to go, but for different reasons we are going to stay with the desire... So Carolina didn't think it twice and wore it the other day -taking advantage of the warm weather that it was-, combining it with red booties and the paper bag. (Sorry about the pale legs, but it is impossible to get tanned when it keeps raining...). Do you like it? Are you going to any festival this summer? Tell us so we can die of envy :(

GRUNGE

Una de las tendencias que más en boga está ahora mismo es la de llevar las camisas o chaquetas anudadas a la cintura. Nos encanta el aire años 90 que tiene (y eso que esa época no se caracteriza por el buen vestir precisamente...), así que el título de hoy no podía ser otro. Rosalía recuperó sus pantalones desteñidos y el look está completo. ¿Os atrevéis con esta moda? ¿Os gusta cómo queda? ¡¡Feliz semana a todo el mundo!!

One of the trends that is more IN this season is wearing shirts and jackets knotted around the waist. We love the 90's style that it has (although that time is not know for dressing well...), so today's title couldn't be another one. Rosalía recovered her tie dye jeans and the outfit is complete. KIMONO

Parece que lo de que había llegado la primavera solo era un espejismo. Aunque hoy sería imposible salir a la calle así, el día que hicimos las fotos no hacía tanto frío y Carolina pudo estrenar el nuevo kimono. ¿También habéis caído es esta tendencia? ¡¡Mañana toca vïdeo!!

It seems that the arrival of the srping was just a mirage. Although today would be impossible to go out like this, the day we took the pictures it wasn`t so cold and Carolina was able to wear our new kimono. Have you also fell for this trend?

SKIRT AGAIN

Tanto nos podemos pasar meses sin ponernos una falda, como de repente no nos apetece vestir otra cosa. Esta semana, a Carolina le ha dado por las medias. Las prendas ya nos las habéis visto por separado en más ocasiones, pero cada vez los looks se nos van volviendo más primaverales. Sabemos que la mayoría de las bloggers se han quitado ya las medias, pero en Galicia, siendo realistas, todavía no hace tantísimo calor como para ir con las piernas al aire... Ahí lo dejamos ;)

PD: Si veis unos flecos asomando es porque no nos queda más remedio que meter un short por debajo del cortísimo vestido :P

We can spend months without wearing a skirt and suddenly wearing them over and over again. This week, Carolina chose to wear tights almost everyday. The clothes have already appeared separately other times, but the looks are getting more for spring time. We know that most of the bloggers have took off the tights, but here in Galicia, being realistic, is not still so hot to go showing that much skin... We leave it there ;)

PS: If you see some fringes it is because we have to wear shorts underneath this extremly short dress :P

LEOS IN THE MIRROR

Es cierto que esta camiseta ya ha salido varias veces en el blog, pero es la primera que podemos enseñar cómo queda sin nada encima. La compramos en otoño y no veíamos el momento de lucirla como se merece (aunque todavía es algo pronto). Para combinarla Carolina no dudó en enfundarse una mini -añadiendo el toque de color-, una americana y nuestras adoradas sneakers. ¿Os gusta el look de hoy? Hoy nos vamos a la tele a comentar los estilismos del Festival de Cine de Málaga, si podemos conseguir el vídeo lo pondremos aquí, como siempre :)

It is true that this shirt has been a few times int he blog already, but this is the first time that we can show it to you with nothing above. We bought it in autumn and we couldn't wait to wear it in all its glory (even though it is still a bit soon). To combine it Carolina didn't doubt in putting a mini -adding the touch of color-, a blazer and our beloved sneakers. Do you like today's look?

REAPPEARING

Haciendo limpieza en los armarios hemos descubierto que hay un montón de ropa a la que deberíamos sacarle mucho más partido. Como por ejemplo esta falda de Zara. Os la enseñamos el verano pasado, pero las veces que ha salido a la calle desde entonces se pueden contar con una sola mano. Eso va a cambiar, no sabemos que es lo que nos ha pasado (puede que el mero hecho de tener un blog) pero de repente le vemos muchísimas más posibilidades. Así que esta es nuestra propuesta para su reaparición, ¿qué os parece?

Cleaning our closest we have discovered that there are a lot of clothes that we should wear more often. For example this Zara skirt. We showed you it last summer, but the times we took it to the street since then can be counting with one hand only. That is going to change, we don't know what happend to us (maybe just the simple fact that we have a blog) but suddenly we see much more possibilities now. So here is our proposal to its reappereance, what do you think?

AT LEAST WE HAVE A TRENCH

Sabemos que estamos muuuuy pesadas con el tiempo, pero es que no es para menos. Aquí en Ourense no para de llover. Esto es horroroso (y parece que no va a mejorar pronto). Pero bueno, ya nos callamos con el tema -aunque era necesario para explicar el look de hoy-. Esto es lo más primaverales que podemos ir, cambiar el abrigo gordo por una gabardina es lo máximo que podemos hacer. Hay que echarle imaginación, no queda más remedio :D

We know that we are in repeat with the weather thing, but it is really tiring. Here in Ourense it don't stop raining. This is unbearable (and it doesn't look like is going to be better soon). Anyway, we now stop with this story -though it was necesary to explain today's look-. This is the most springtime we can wear, changing the coat for the trench is the most we can do. We have to figure it out, no choice :D

GRAY DAYS

Hemos decidido que no vamos a esperar a que venga la primavera, iremos estrenando las nuevas prendas intentando adaptarlas a este tiempo invernal que aún tenemos. La verdad es que no nos disgusta para nada la idea de ponerse medias con sandalias (todo depende del tipo de sandalia, a modo guiri no, por supuesto jeje), así que estamos más que encantadas con el resultado de estas de H&M con unas medias caladas negras de hace unos años. ¿Os gusta?

We have decided that we are not waiting for spring to come, we will wear our new items trying to adapt them to this winter weather. The truth is that we like a lot the idea of mixing sandals with tights (it depends on the sandals of course), so we really love how this ones from H&M look with the fishnet tights. Do you like it?

TOUCH OF PINK

Desde la primera vez que nos los pusimos (en esta entrada), no dejamos de pensar posibles estilismos para estos zapatos. Son comodísimos y la verdad es que escogimos genial el color, porque pegan con todo. En esta ocasión, combinados con negro y un toque de rosa nos encanta el resultado. ¿Qué opináis?

Since the first time we put them on (in this post), we can't stop thinking about possible outfits for these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and the truth is that we chose the color perfectly, because they match with everything. In this case, with black and a touch of pink we love the result. What do you think?

STRIPED FLOWERS

Sabemos que nos estamos adelantando a la primavera porque las previsiones para esta semana no son muy buenas, pero el fin de semana aprovechamos los ratitos de sol para hacer las fotos. Además, estamos ya un poco hartas de abrigos, botas y demás... así que nos vamos hacia looks más fresquitos (no aptos todavía para las últimas horas de la tarde). ¡Feliz semana a todos! Ánimo, que ya empieza la cuenta atrás para el buen tiempo :D

PD: El novio de Carolina está hoy de cumple así que... FELICIDADES DIOGO (aka PORTUGUÉS :P)

We know that we are in a spring mood pretty early because the weather forecast for this week isn't really good. But the weekend was really cool to take pictures. Plus, we are a bit sick of coats, boots and that kind of stuff so we turn the chip to fresher looks (not suitable for the last evening hours). Happy week everyone, summertime is near!

PS: Today is Carolina's boyfriend's birthday so... HAPPY BDAY DIOGO (aka PORTUGUÉS :P)

YOKO AT HOME

Primero de nada tenemos que disculparnos por las fotos (estas y las del post del jueves). Obviamente no están a la altura de lo que creemos que podemos hacer, pero en todo el fin de semana no paró de llover y no hubo un solo momento en el que pudiésemos salir de casa para fotografiar los modelitos. Así que allí estábamos las dos, vestidas y esperando a que escampase, pero veíamos que el grifo no se cerraba y la luz se iba. Por lo tanto no nos quedó otro remedio más que hacer las fotos en casa. Aunque, como sabemos, esta vez las imágenes no son gran cosa, hicimos todo lo que pudimos para que se viesen lo mejor posible. Por cierto, estrenamos camiseta de Yoko Ono, ¿os gusta?

First of all we have to apologize for the photos (these ones and next Thursday's post). Obviously they are not as good as we think we can be, but it was raining all weekend and there was not a single moment for us to go out and take some pictures. So there we were, all dressed and waiting for it to clear up, but we saw that the rain never stopped and the light was getting dark. Therefore we had no other choice that take the pictures at home. Though, as we know, this time the images are not a big deal, we did everything we could so that they look their best. By the way, we are wearing our new Yoko Ono tee, do you like it?

IN THE FENCE

La verdad es que se nos olvida utilizar shorts en invierno. No es porque no nos guste el resultado, a la vista está que si. En parte se lo debemos a estas medias, cada vez que las utilizamos en un look lo completan a la perfección. ¿Qué os parece? ¿Sois partidarias de los shorts para el frío? The truth is that we forget to wear shorts in winter. It is not because we don't like the result, it is obvious that we do. DADDY'S SWEATER

El post de hoy es algo nostálgico. El causante es este jersey, ¿por qué? Pues porque tiene ¡más de 30 años! Llegamos a la conclusión de que quizá no nos creeríais si solamente os lo decíamos (podría perfectamente pasar por uno de Zara), así que decidimos enseñaros una foto de nuestro padre en plena juventud llevándolo. Y tenemos que decir, que lanas como la de esta prenda ya no se fabrican, ¡¡tres décadas y ni una sola bolita!! ¿Qué os parece? ¿Tenéis alguna prenda recuperada del armario de vuestros padres?

Today's post is a little nostalgic. The cause is this sweater, why? Well because it is more than 30 years old! We conclude that maybe you won't belive us if we just told you (it perfectly could be a Zara sweater), so we decided to show you a picture of our father in his youth wearing it. And we have to say, wools like this sweater's are not made anymore, three decades and it hasn't got a single pellet!! What do you think about it? LITTLE SPRING

Creemos que el fin de semana vendrá un frío de nieve, pero mientras, la meteorología nos ha dado un respiro y pudimos disfrutar de un pequeño momento de sol como el de las fotos, que nos permitió sacar del armario chaquetas menos abrigosas (para hoy ya dan lluvia en Ourense, así que se nos acabó la alegría). Carolina volvió a enfundarse los pantalones que llevaba en la entrada "Safari" para darle un toque entre casual y más elegante gracias a la blazer blanca. ¿Os gusta? Por cierto, muchas gracias por vuestros comentarios sobre el vídeo de Cindy Lauper. La verdad es que nos lo pasamos muy bien haciéndolo y parece que eso se refleja en el resultado ;)

The weekend will be really cold, but while then, the weather give us a break and we could enjoy a little moment of Sun that you can see in the pictures. The rain is coming today so the happiness is almost over. Carolina wore again the jeans she showed you in the "Safari" post, this time to give a casual and smart touch to it because of the white blazer. Do you like it?
