SPORTY LACE

Puede que el encaje sea una de esas tendencias que va y viene según la temporada, pero sin duda es una de las constantes en nuestro armario. Y prueba de ello es esta camisa, de hace ya varias temporadas y a la que nos mantenemos fieles. Lo mejor de este tejido es que se adapta a cualquier estilo. Un ejemplos son estos calcetines, estrenados en Fin de Año con tacones. Quedaban de maravilla entonces pero no podemos resistirnos a ponerlos también con deportivas. ¿Qué os parece? ¿Sois de adaptar prendas de vestir para el día a día o más de reservarlas para ocasiones?

Maybe lace is one of those trends that comes and goes depending on the season, but it is one of the constants in our closet. And proof of that is this shirt, from some seasons ago and to which we keep faithful. The best thing about this fabric is that it fits any style. An example of this are these socks, from New Year's Eve and wore with heels. They match perfectly then, but we can't resist to wear them also with sneakers. What do you think? Parece que el otoño ha llegado, así que no nos queda más remedio que empezar a ponernos medias y mangas largas. DRY GRASS

Desde que vimos este chaleco a principio de temporada sabíamos que era exactamente el modelo que queríamos. El precio que tenía nos parecía demasiado elevado para lo que es, así que imaginad nuestra alegría cuando lo vimos en las rebajas a mitad de precio. Las sandalias no las compramos muy convencidas, pero en cuanto llegaron a casa y las vimos en persona, supimos que había sido una gran compra, seguro que las veis mucho por aquí. ¡¡Que tengáis un muy feliz día!!

Since we saw this vest at the begining if the season we knew that it was the exact model we wanted. The price that it had was too expensive for what it is, so imagine our joy when we saw it in the sales at half price. We weren't sure about the sandals, but when they arrived home and we saw them in person we knew thet it was a great purchase at the end, we are sure you will see them a lot around here. SHORT DUNGAREE

Cuando "estrenamos" el peto vaquero en esta entrada os dijimos que habíamos recuperado dos de ellos. Pues este es el otro, que hemos cortado y quitado los bolsillos. Nos gusta mucho la combinación de los petos con tacones, especialmente con estos que ya conocéis de sobra. Además, el kimono le da ese toque informal pero arreglado que tanto nos gusta. 

When we wore again our denim dungaree we told you that we had recuperated two of them. Well, this is the other one, we made ir short and we took off the pockets. We love how dungarees look with heels, specially whit these ones that you already know. Besides, the kimono gives the casual but fancy touch that we love so much.

FANCY SWEATPANTS

Antes de hablaros del look de hoy, tenemos que pediros disculpas por estar algo ausentes estos días. Mil gracias por todas las visitas y comentarios a pesar de no habernos pasado mucho por aquí. Con la mente puesta ya en las rebajas, y gracias a Asos que adelantó las suyas, os enseñamos las últimas adquisiciones antes de las grandes compras. Se trata de la cazadora vaquera tipo "boyfriend" (que tras mucho tiempo buscando, por fin encontramos la perfecta) y los pantalones con raya lateral. Os dejamos los enlaces por si os gustan. Before talking about today's look, we want to apologize for being a little absentees these days. Thank you so so much for all the visits and comments even though we weren't around here so much. With our minds in sales already, and thanks to Asos that advanced theirs, we show you our latest purchases before the big shopping. They are the denim jacket "boyfriend" style (we were looking for one long time ago and we finally got the perfect one) and the pants with the lateral line. HAIR TUTORIAL: LOW BUN

El peinado que os proponemos hoy es uno de nuestros favoritos porque como mucho se tardan cinco minutos en hacerlo y el resultado es muy aparente. Os animamos a que lo probéis porque puede adaptarse tanto para el día a día como para ocasiones más especiales. Ya nos diréis qué tal os va con la propuesta!

The hairdo we propose today is one of our favourites because you won't last more than five minutes in its elaboration and the result is really cool. We invite you to try because it could adapt to your daily life and also to special ocassions. Tell us how it goes!

PUNKY BREWSTER STYLE

El otro día estábamos hablando con nuestra madre de cómo habían vuelto los petos. De repente nos dice: "En el armario del garaje hay dos" de cuando éramos pequeñas. Por supuesto, allí nos fuimos corriendo a ver si todavía podían aprovecharse. Como podéis ver en las fotos, éste luce como nuevo. El otro lo hemos cortado para hacernos uno tipo short. Está claro -y cada día más- que no se puede tirar nada a la basura, porque todo vuelve.

En esta ocasión han tocado Converse, pero también hemos hecho pruebas con taconazo y quedan de maravilla. Ya os iremos enseñando diferentes propuestas. Para restarle informalidad, Rosalía lo combinó con una camiseta de transparencias.¿Os gusta? 

La entrada de hoy es especial porque el bolso nos lo hemos hecho nosotras. La historia es parecida: teníamos una cartera negra en casa, sin mucha gracia, así que cogimos unos botes de pintura acrílica y nos pusimos manos a la obra. Nos encanta el resultado, ¿a vosotros?

The other day we were talking with our mother about the back of the dungarees. Suddenly she told us: "There are two of them in the garage's closet" from when we were younger. Of course, there we ran to see if they were usable. As you can see in these pictures, this one looks as new. We cut the other one to make it short. It is clear -more everyday- that you can't throw anything away, because you never know when you will wear it again.

This time we chose Converse, but we also tried with heels and they look amazing. We will show you some different proposals. To reduce informality, Rosalía combined it with a see-through tee. Do you like it?

Today's post is special because we made the bag. The story is very similar: we had this clutch at home, it was not really pretty, so we took some acrylic paint and we began to splash it. We love the result, don't you?

ZEBRA JEANS

Hola! ¿Cómo va la semana? Ya estamos a la mitad y ésta es especial para Carolina porque el lunes coge vacaciones. Y parece que el buen tiempo nos va a acompañar. Por ahora os dejamos con un nuevo look en el que los protagonistas absolutos son los nuevos pantalones de Zara. Pero como para no serlo.... Y vuelven a aparecer los botines de H&M. No os podéis imaginar lo cómodos y fresquitos que son. Además de tener el tacón ancho, la plataforma hace que no sean tan altos como parecen. ¿Os gusta el look?

Hi! How is the week going? This week is special for Carolina because on Monday she will be on holidays. And it seems like weather is goint to be on our favor. For now we leave you with a new look where the absolut stars are the new jeans from Zara. But they have to... And  the H&M heels are back here. You can't imagine how comfy they are. Besides with the width heel and the platform they aren't as high as they look. Do you like the look?

FREE FEET

¡¡Por fin!! La primera entrada con sandalias, y si esto no cambia también será la última... Estas son unas de nuestras favoritas por lo simples que son, quedan bien con cualquier estilismo. El resto del look muy sencillito, pantalones pastel y el chaleco para dar un toque "especial". ¿Vosotros ya os habéis puesto sandalias este año?

Finally!! The first post with sandals, and if the weather doesn't change also the last one... These are one of our favourite for their simplicity, the look great with any outfit. The rest of the look is quite simple, pastel pants and the denim vest to give it an "special" touch. Did you wear your sandals already?

SHINING RED

El rojo es el protagonista en el look de hoy. Aunque en pequeñas dosis, se lleva toda la atención y siempre que podemos, nos encanta dar toques de este color en los estilismos. Red is the absolut protagonist in today's look. Even in little doses, it takes all the atention and we love to put touches of this color in our outfits. ALL ABOUT THE JEAN

Nunca habíamos sido especialmente partidarias de vaquero+vaquero, pero, como en todo en la moda, siempre hay que hacer alguna excepción. La otra característica de este look es el tono de blancos y grises, sólo rotos por las rayas rojas de la camiseta. De vez en cuando, un simple toque de color es suficiente para dar alegría. ¡Qué tengáis una gran semana! (Sobre todo a los que no estáis de vacaciones, el resto la disfrutarán seguro :D)

We never were really into jeans+jeans but, as always happens in fashion world, you always have to make exceptions. The other thing about this look are the black and grey shades, just broken by the red stripes of the tee. Sometimes, a simple touch of colour is enough to put the fun. Have an awesome week! (Specially the ones that aren't on holidays because the other ones must be enjoying for sure :D)

DADDY'S SWEATER

El post de hoy es algo nostálgico. El causante es este jersey, ¿por qué? Pues porque tiene ¡más de 30 años! Llegamos a la conclusión de que quizá no nos creeríais si solamente os lo decíamos (podría perfectamente pasar por uno de Zara), así que decidimos enseñaros una foto de nuestro padre en plena juventud llevándolo. Y tenemos que decir, que lanas como la de esta prenda ya no se fabrican, ¡¡tres décadas y ni una sola bolita!! ¿Qué os parece? ¿Tenéis alguna prenda recuperada del armario de vuestros padres?

Today's post is a little nostalgic. The cause is this sweater, why? Well because it is more than 30 years old! We conclude that maybe you won't belive us if we just told you (it perfectly could be a Zara sweater), so we decided to show you a picture of our father in his youth wearing it. And we have to say, wools like this sweater's are not made anymore, three decades and it hasn't got a single pellet!! What do you think about it? Do you have any recovered piece of your parent's closet?

RED VALENTINE

No nos gusta NADA San Valentín, en general no somos muy románticas. Pero la casualidad ha querido que el rojo sea hoy el protagonista de nuestra entrada. Carolina se decidió por las medias rojas para romper un poco el monocromatismo del resto del look. Aunque lo habitual es que utilicemos el vestido de encaje de H&M completamente a la vista, en esta ocasión quisimos probar con un maxi jersey por encima. ¿Qué os parece la propuesta?

En cualquier caso, si a vosotras sí os gusta San Valentín, esperamos que lo disfrutéis y tengáis un día lleno de amor ;)

We like NOTHING Valentine's Day because we aren't romantic at all. The casuality has wanted that red was today the star of this post. Carolina decided red tights to break the monochromatism of the look. We used to wear this lace dress from H&M all alone but we wanted to try it with a maxi sweater this time. What do you think about the proposal?

THE TURBANT

¿Que tal? El tiempo no ha sido muy favorable para sacar fotos últimamente por culpa de un tal Gong. Pero, por suerte, el Sol decidió salir un momentito para ayudarnos y la verdad es que no podemos estar más agradecidas, nos ha gustado mucho el resultado. Como protagonista absoluto, nuestro turbante de Asos. Le hemos dado mucho uso desde que lo compramos el año pasado, porque la verdad es que sienta de maravilla. ¿Os gusta? ¿Tenéis algún gorro de este estilo?

How are you doing? The weather wasn't really friendly lately because of the strong cold and rain in all Europe. But, luckily, the Sun decided to go out for a while to help us and we are really grateful, we like the result so much. As absolut protagonist, our turbant from Asos. We have used it so much since we bought it last year, because the truth is that it suits great. Do you like it? Do you have any of this style?

ASYMMETRICAL

¿Estáis listas ya para Fin de Año? Nosotras casi casi. El lunes os enseñaremos nuestros vestidos. Mientras, os dejamos con otro look del día a día, que por cierto vino soleado. ¿Quién dijo que las faldas asimétricas no eran para el invierno? CAMO

Aún no habíamos caído en la tendencia camuflaje porque estaba demasiado en todos lados y nos saturó, al igual que esta camisa. Pero no hemos podido resistirnos más, aunque parece que se ha relajado un poco (o eso queremos creer :D). 

We hadn't fall for camo trend yet because it was too much present and we became a bit exhausted, as it happened with this shirt. But we couldn't resist anymore, although it seems that the madness has relaxed a little (or this it what we want to think :D).

WRAPPING

¡Qué gusto que ya podemos comenzar a ponernos bufandas y guantes! El frío de verdad parece que comienza a aparecer y lo cierto es que nos encanta abrigarnos.

It's so nice we can start wearing scarves and gloves! The real cold is coming and the truth is that we love wrapping :D

UNDER THE UMBRELLA

¡¡Cómo nos gusta este gorro!! Es el complemento perfecto para finalizar cualquier look y quitarle seriedad. Y aunque no lo parezca, si, llovía. Pero era de esos días en los que tan pronto está diluviando como sale el sol, así que aprovechamos los cambios para hacer las fotos combinando ambos fenómenos. ¿Os gusta el look? We love this beanie!! It is the perfect accessory to give the final touch and substract seriousness to any look. And although it doesn't seem, yes, it was raining. But it was one of those days that one minute it is pouring and the next the sun shines, so we took advantage of the changes to make the pictures combining both phenomena. What do you think about the look?

TWENTIES

En cuanto Carolina acabó de vestirse, supimos que este loook tenía que estar en el blog. La verdad es que es de esas combinaciones arriesgadas que o quedan genial o no hay por donde mirarlas. A nosotras nos parece de las primeras, ese toque años veinte que nos encanta pero que tampoco se ve muy forzado. ¿Que opináis vosotros? The minute Carolina finished dressing herself, we kenw this look had to be on the blog. The truth is that it is one of those risky combos that either are great or you can´t even look at them. TIGER TEE

La semana vuelve a comenzar :( Con el look de hoy, un poco de safari, estrenamos esta camiseta de Asos, que cada día nos gusta más. La chaqueta es una prenda de la que nos enamoramos a primera vista en Zara hace dos o tres temporadas. Sin dudarlo, nos hicimos con ella. La original era de manga corta y, aunque bonita, nos suponía problemas para poder ponérnosla durante el invierno, así que dijimos: "Por favor, abuela, ¿nos la haces de manga larga?" Como era imposible conseguir lana del mismo color, nos fuimos a la diferencia radical. ¿Qué os parece el resultado?

And the week starts again :( Today, we wear for the first time our  new Asos tee, that we like more and more everyday. The jacket is a piece from Zara we fell in love with two ore three years ago. We took it without doubt. The original was sleeveless -beautiful but difficult to wear it-so we said: "Please, grandma, could you make it long sleeve?" As soon as we couldn't fine wool in the same color, we went to the radical difference. What do you think about the result?
